President's Message

Assalam o alaikum. I welcome you all as the 25th president of this long living and most vibrant student body originally founded by students of King Edward Medical University. Students patient welfare society was established in 1988 by a group of then young and energetic medical students with the aim of 'provision of free medicines to poor and needy patients visiting out patients clinic of mayo hospital, lahore'.

Time changes quickly and so did our SPWS. Over the past 2 decades, SPWS has emerged as the most popular student's organisation not only among kemcolians but all over the country, since, it is the single largest student based N.G.O across the country. With every passing instance, SPWS team finds out every possibility to make this organisation work more effectively, more energeticaly and more intelligently. It has been four years now that i have been working for this organisation.

I, as president SPWS, consider myself lucky enough to get a team of most hardworking office bearers. "Service to man is service to God" was the motion passed two decades ago and its delightful to see everyone still working for the same cause with even more zeal and zest that had ever been noticed among any SPWSian. In the end, i would only say, as i always do, that a good deed is good indeed, no matter its a minor job or mightiest of the tasks. I wish and pray that SPWS and all of its future office bearers may keep the torch burning and may continue to follow the footsteps of their predecessors.
